About Me
The biggest news of my life is this: I finally told my parents that I'm TG and Bisexual on 1/13/08. They were the only people in my life who didn't know about all of me and now they do. They love me and don't understand it all but support my right to make my own decisions. Mom even said I was pretty, a very emotional time. It finally happened and now I have no where to go but up, no fear of discovery left - I am free...
I just wanted to share this with everyone and say to all of those who have struggled with this themselves, as i did for over 12 years, that finally telling them the truth about me has made me feel closer to my parents than I ever have been.
UPDATE: It has cooled off with the folks, we don't discuss my dressing or anything about my personal life. I guess I was a bit naieve to expect full support and disclosure but at least if they've forgotten or blocked it out, lol, I still know that I told them and I have that hurdle gone anyway. I still don't know where I am going with this, right now I'm trying to exist and have that be enough. It's working for now, but if anyone wants to discuss life after telling your parents I'd be happy to listen and talk... ok enuff rambling
I've been dressing for a few years now, I really enjoy it and the way it makes me feel. However, I'm also an admirer and find myself more in that aspect at times. I have an interesting duality...
I'm very into old movies like Casablanca, The Seven Year Itch, On the Waterfront.
I also like Jazz and House, good cuisine and wine. I can be a big geek when it comes to comics, videogames and sci-fi stuff too. There's more to me but just ask me, I'll oblige.
Looking for like minded people to chat with and to make friends. Still trying to figure out myself, but then again aren't we all?
