About Me
I am not like the boy next door.
In highschool I was the nerdiest boy in class. In college I was an egotistical philosopher. Nowadays I am shinier and harder to classify; but still lost, still different from most people, still arrogant (or so I am told), and still lonely.
One thing I really hate is compulsive teevee watching. Not so much because it rots people's brains; that's their business. But rather, because I then have to listen to them blather on about some fucking program. Worst of all, it's considered socially inappropriate to burst into a rant about the evils of teevee when someone starts thusly to blather.
My education, courtesy of the public university, was godawful. For that reason, and also to infuriate my father, I dropped out after six years of not giving a damn. Now I work in a field entirely unrelated to my education; I hate it, but am very good at it. Fortunately, I have continued to read voraciously, so I have not yet become a complete philistine.
