I am an active, athletic girl. I play ice hockey. I hike. I geocache. I am also a science nerd, with an advanced degree in chemistry. I read as much as I can, and write as much as I can, usually in the form of blogging. I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends, and sleeping (though as an insomniac, sleep doesn't seem to enjoy me). I am a San Diego, California native, living in New England. I have two wonderful children, three cats, and a hermit crab. (Can you sing "And a partridge in a pear tree"?)
