About Me
In September 2007, I became the victim of police brutality, because of the way I was dressed (as the beautiful woman I am). I was repeatedly beaten by the cops, giving me multiple contusions, a split lip, three fractured ribs, and a fractured arm, not to mention expensive medical and physical therapy bills. Suddenly I realized, belatedly in my forties, that the world can be a very scary and ugly place, filled with senseless hate, violence, and aggression.
The victims of police brutality (and other forms of male aggression) are usually the most vulnerable, including women, minorities, gays, and transgenders. Each and every day, there are many innocent people being hurt and even killed by cops gone bad. Let us all remember these victims and do whatever we can to STOP POLICE BRUTALITY!
A prayer to the Great Goddess:
May my spirit be continually renewed by the living and fertile power of the Sacred Feminine. Let me absorb this power and let me sense it sensually flowing throughout all the vessels of my body. Great Goddess, release all of Your Feminine Energy and Spirit into my mind, body, and soul. May Your energy and spirit fill me with womanly bliss and give me the strength and courage I need to progress along my sometimes difficult but always blessed journey through life. And may the best of the Feminine - the loving kindness, gentleness, joyfulness, and intuitiveness of Woman - infuse me with inner peace. And let me share my peace, love, and joy with all the world. Thank You, Great Goddess, for giving me the glorious gift of my femininity and for granting me my pure womanly spirit!
