Hello there & thanks for stopping by. I am a thirtysomething computer geek with a sense of humor about life in the trans-lane. I love science fiction, futurism, ambient music, nature hikes, dinner parties, arty films, rock music, and meeting nice people who practice a little carpe diem from time to time. I am also a MAC cosmetics devotee... they always make me feel right at home.
I am male, but present myself as female sometimes because it's cool, fun, creative, and sexy. So why not? I support the TG community and also know how to kick up my heels and have a good time. It's all about balance. Now who's got the frozen margaritas? *grin*
Big thanks to Alice Novic, Renee Reyes, and Kate Bornstein for helping me and so many others make sense of this journey. Kate's "My Gender Workbook" has been especially helpful. It deconstructs "man", "woman" and sexuality in ways that cut right through the mountains of BS in our lives (and within our own community). If you feel "more than a man, but not quite a woman"... pick up a copy. It just might help you escape the spinning gender carousel for good. Also Renee Reyes's refreshingly candid website has been very helpful, as has Dr. Novic's excellent URNA-exclusive series, "Through the Looking Glass". Marvelous insights, indeed!
