About Me

My name's Jennifer and I've actively been pursuing transition since May 2007 and am now living full-time, 24/7.

I came out to extended family in early 2008. Religious beliefs and bad family dynamics precluded them supporting me. Since most of my social base was based in conservative religion, I've now had to rebuild new support for myself, although I do see my mother and sister on occasion and still remain in communication with my spouse.

My children are anxious about me being full-time and are still working towards seeing me as a woman. Hopefully we can weather this storm together and at least regain the ability to spend time together.

Looking for trans-friendly people as well as other pre/post-op m2f's who I can give support to and get support from... both in time spent re-socializing myself as female as well as learning what resources are available in this area.

If I'd be looking for anything, it would be for some cisgen girls to be friends with; transpeople I can advise and help and encourage; and guys who don't have hangups about being with a beautiful woman who has my particular background. I'm not interested in chasers, honestly; you'd do best to view me as a natural woman with a correctable birth defect, and once I save enough money, that correction will be made.

I'm a musician, writer, artist, thinker, reader, hiking, spiritual, explorer sort of gal with a witty sense of humor and a love for science and poetry = eclectic, very much so.

I also belong to a great trans support group called TransCentralPA (www.TransCentralPA.org) located in Harrisburg. Guests and new members are always welcome!
