More proof that it's never too late! With some gentle persuasion from Claire, and the welcoming of the Tiffany Club of New England, I've crossed the bar and come out. Thanks to Claire, and thanks to TCNE for an understanding welcome. There's already been some discussion about going out in public; we'll see. Obviously, nothing is impossible.
I am exploring the idea of androgyny, because committing to an either-or definition of gender doesn't seem right for me. That doesn't mean I'm not curious about really feminine makeovers.
I'd love to hear from anyone who is still working out the place to be, especially if you have ideas of dressing everyday that step outside the stereotype. I'm not real sexy but I'm not being read, either.
I guess I can scrap my anxiety about social gatherings, and Pride parades, since I made it to Boston Pride 2009.
I remain interested in meeting people who could be a friend en drab as well as en femme.
Sex? This topic comes after friendship and comfort levels, don't you know: ambivalence is my policy. That rather rules out admirers, chasers, and what-have-yous for now. If I feel like making an exception, I'll call you. My standards are ridiculously picky. I should know: I apply them to myself.
