About Me
Hi.
I'm a drummer. I teach drum set lessons, perform with several bands, and do session work. I live alone in my late grandparents' house (well, my cat and I live here). I have more friends than I can keep track of and my life is busy and full.
It took me quite a while to accept the reality of who I am as a person, but since I have my world has become a magical place filled with joy and love.
I love music (classical, jazz, rock), theater, movies, museums, sci-fi/fantasy, the beach (I live near the beach), trying new restaurants, live hockey, and just about anything that involves friends.
I'm a bit of a geek sometimes, and I can be a little emotional and silly, but I'm mostly just a cool badass drummer chick. (lol)
My mom is one of my best friends and says that I've become the person I was always meant to be.
I live a charmed life in many ways.
I'm a pre-op transsexual woman. I started living fulltime on 09/05/06. My GRS is scheduled in February 2009. (I can't wait)
I was married to a GW for nine years. She helped me figure myself out; I owe her a lot. Our marriage did not survive my transition. Once the reality that I am a woman became clear our marriage was destined to end; a marriage between two straight women is hard to maintain. But we've rekindled a friendship; she's a great woman and wanted me to be true to myself even if she couldn't be with me.
My transition has been evidence of how wonderous the world can truly be; I have been accepted and loved and celebrated beyond my wildest dreams.
Life is mad cool, yo.
I hang out in the chat room but tend to lurk, feel free to PM me.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day!
:-)
