About Me

I'm Danielle. I recently moved to DC from The Twin Cities. So I'm totally new to the east coast, and "city life" in general.

I think what I am is a wonderful yet twisted thing. In my journey I lost my family, I lost my friends, and for a long time I lost myself, and just became this person lost in fear and self doubt. I now find myself unsure in this world because I am scared and fearful of the judgement of others, and thus lack confidence in a really big way, even if I put on a brave face.

I'm a good, down to earth person that cares about others, and the issues affecting us. I'm an advocate for LGTB rights and equality. Politically, I find myself as a leftist. Not like crazy extreme, but I'm an open minded, non-judging person, so I tend to be that way, politically. Religion wise, I try not to label myself, I believe in god, a higher power, but again, I'm not closed minded, so I find myself open to considering other possibilities without shutting myself down to new things. I'm a very creative person due to this.

Linguistically, I follow the pace, I am intelligent, and can carry on a conversation, I really am a conversationalist. But if I'm boring you, I certainly and take a lower key approach. But honestly one of the most wonderful things is someone that is mentally stimulating, and hopefully smarter than me, because less intelligent people bore me.

As for other things, I love music, it is my life. I suppose I could consider myself a musician. I play guitar, currently owning four, and before this life was very talented vocally. The fact remains that a female and a male have very different voices, and I have a terrible female singing voice, this has been hell for me.

Sometimes I question if transition was the right decision for many reasons, and even at this point in my life I wonder about what life would still be like. I might be female now, but I'm not even close to the person I
