About Me
Hmm. Well, let's see. I'm an "out & proud" trans, androgynous, gender-irrelevant, gender-queer, fluidly-gendered musician. I play in a couple of local bands, both of whom seem to think that having a trans person in the band ups its "coolness-index" by about 250%, which I think is awesome! In my lovely, tolerant, accepting hometown I go where I want, do what I want and (knock on wood) have thus far had absolutely no problems. Neighbors and friends and even strangers all willingly accept me, for which I am very grateful. My lovely, wonderful life-partner also fully accepts me (ditto on the gratitude bit).
I don't always dress fully "en femme" (maybe 40-50% of the time) but I always look feminine, makeup, nail polish, often heels, casual femmy clothes, and FAR too much silver jewelry :) (especially earrings and bangles! I wear about 30 silver bangles, which I almost never remove except to clean). When en femme my style ranges all the way from casual/funky to total glam. I have lots of straight and "LGB" friends, but I'm a little short on the "T" side, so I'd love to make more trans friends, both online and in my area!
