About Me
I was born male but all of my life I have felt like a girl inside and found myself attracted to feminine and girlie things. After years of confusion and denial, I now know I am transsexual or transgendered - and I'm proud of it. I should tell you about the me that lives in the everyday world. I am 50-something, happily married for 25+ years (over 30 years together) to a supportive woman who has encouraged me to get more in touch with my feminine side and to explore what it is like to be a woman. We have two beautiful daughters who are aware of my feminine side as far as crossdressing but not my gender identity. Years ago I made the decision to self-medicate with female hormones to feminize my body and it has worked, I have B cup breasts and soft skin with slower bodyhair regrowth and it has had the added benefit of feminizing my attitude and view of the world as well.
I hope to meet some friends and possibly more in this group, I'd love to correspond with other girls or admirers.
Update September 2010 - My supportive wife has moved out effectively ending our relationship. While I will miss her companionship I am going to explore all aspects of my feminine self more aggressively and enthusiastically now... life is good
