About Me

Hi. I'm just an not-so-average girl who's navigated two major and unplanned life changes at once the past four years: career and gender. (Don't try this at home, even under adult supervision. One's enough to kill a horse.)

Anyway, I'm on here to make friends, to make job connections ... and maybe meet a cute, sweet, bright, styling girl (GG or TG) who can appreciate me.

I'm a sweet, passable, pretty Connecticut refugee who looks 35-40 and usually thinks about 27. I'm scary-smart -- and a Gemini, a true twin spirit. The only time I'm ever in boy drag now is on my bicycle. Had my epiphany in January 2008, started with hormones in April 2010, and California legally marked me as female in September 2010.

I live out and open in the everyday world. Most of my friends n both sides of the country and my family are on board -- and, better yet, coming out has greatly expanded my circle of friends. I cherish the fact that my female friends regard me as one of the girls. Save for the hormonal changes, the transition part of my life is over -- but the job hunt's gonna kill me, though.

If you're a pretty/cute sweetheart and a quick wit who likes great music (I'm into '60s garage, punk, Northern soul, rockabilly and a lot in between), shoes, eternal youth, the printed word, shoes, deep conversations, movies, Hot Wheels, shoes, history, the wonders of MAC, Monty Python, pinball, shoes and maybe garlic -- and shoes -- then chances are we have something to talk about. I'd love to hear from you.

PS: I'm old-school: I want the friends on my friends list to truly be friends, so email me and let's talk before you send a
