Don't contact me here. Please use rachelsonfire at yahoo. This site is not very good. What's saddest is that it's said to be geared for transpersons making their way. Forgive this rant, and please forgive my negative attitude. I'm an upbeat person, but this? It's just very annoying. URNA = big nothing, with it's ridiculous charges for services other sites give you for free. While three or four other sites are putting me in contact with others quite regularly, I could never actually get in touch with ONE URNA user trying to contact me. In the first place, it's absolutely DEAD here. Then once or twice, someone left me a URNA message. I was surprised to see any activity. Naively, I tried to read it. Charge for that. I tried to view their profile. Charge for that too. I tried to friend them. Charge for that. I tried to send a message. Charge for that. I was stonewalled at EVERY turn. I don't think I would ever pay for any of the services it offers.
Don't get me wrong, I realize that URNA owes us nothing, and has bills to pay, but it's obvious that URNA has no shortage of banner ads and glitzy shemale porn advertisers (ugh, thanks URNA for attracting the worst type of males and further promoting the giant misunderstanding that we are a bunch of nasty 'she-males' looking for a gangbang). However, in a few short years, I've been able to completely rebuild my social life, from male to female, using about every other site but URNA Wow! Yes, with absolutely no help from URNotAlone, I've met so many nice people on meetup, yahoo, collarme, fetlife, linkdin, facebook, myspace, in clubs and about ten other social networking sites. I sure am glad I didn't rely on URNA. I would still be alone. Now THAT's irony.
