The closet door is open. I've come out.
9/17/07 - Telling my wife her husband is transgender was just as scary as i thought it would be... but the result was far less so. We don't know exactly what the boundaries are going to be yet, but we're working on finding a lifestyle we can both be happy with. Most importantly, she knows who i am now. She's not repulsed, she doesn't want me to leave... and she still loves me.
My inner girl gets to see the light, and breathe fresh air... and that's a very good thing.
7/18/08 - My oldest daughter now also knows about my being transgender, and she has told me that it doesn't bother her in the least. Honestly, it amazes me how different her reaction is from what i feared. I am truly blessed to have the family i do.
10/15/08 - Last night, my youngest daughter became the final member of my family to learn my secret, and it made her laugh... not at me, but that she finally understood why i like Eddie Izzard so much. :)
I am luckier than i ever knew, and truly, truly blessed to have these three remarkable women in my life.
As for me, i'm looking to make new friends near me, friends from whom i don't have to hide who i am inside. I love computer gaming, playing golf, good wine, spicy food, nice shoes, and bright colors. My musical taste is all over the place.
I've attended and been a member of Tri-Ess New England, though i didn't renew this year.
The Tiffany Club of New England is where i've been going of late to enjoy the company of other TG friends.
I haven't been out en femme "among the muggles" yet, but i hope to screw up the courage to do it soon.
