About Me

I have known I am female since I was about 5 years old. Always played with the girls and their toys. Often in trouble for acting like a sissy. When old enough to play little league my mom spent untold hours teaching me how not to throw like a girl.
Went into the Navy after HS and then to Vietnam. Got out and was married to the lady I am still married to 40 years later. Spent nearly 30 years persuing a career in public safety.
All of my growing up years I constantly dressed. Mostly wearing my sisters clothing but occassionally moms. After getting married I would wear my wifes clothes when she was not home.
I had no idea that a person could transition. In fact I had never heard of this until about 15 years ago. All of this time I fought inner battles about who or what is was. I always thought there was something terribly wrong with me and I was very ashamed of it. I decided the world would be better off with out such an abomination and tried to run head on to a logging truck. It was like something took the wheel out of my hands and steered back into my lane.
I finally told my wife about "Karen". Naturally she was pretty upset and confused. Really worried about the lesbian thing. We talked alot and prayed alot. Time passed and she had the opportunity to chat with a few TG's wives. At first this was no good but she started to at least get a grip on our situation.
As the years have passed she has a pretty good handle on things. She thinks I am terrific and my being TG has a lot to do with it.
Me, I hate being a male but at this point in my life know that if I were to completely come out and transition it would hurt to many people and I can not hurt others for my own self gratification.
Other interests include sailing, riding my Harley, woodworking, camping, cooking, gardening, flyfishing, reading romantic novels.
I would like to make new friends in the TG community.
