About Me
So I've been coming out as TG for about 2 years although I don't really go out in public (i.e. stores, restaurants, etc...) but I dress at home full-time (although homeless at the moment and unsure what I'm gonna do) and I dress part-time at friend's houses... I think the support from my friends has been invaluable to me.
I'm desperate to get some medical benefits so I can see a doctor and get on HRT but I've kinda run out of resources here in my home state so I may have to move or find some other means of acquiring medical help.
I was diagnosed with major depression and anxiety a few years back, and it was somewhat helpful to be on a low dose of antidepressants and have some occasional counseling. But I really feel that my gender dysphoria is at the root of those other 2 things.
Now without medical benefits, or a home, or a job, or medication... I'm kinda not doin' so great at problem solving or moving ahead. Been stayin' with a friend for a while now and she's wonderful and supportive to me but doesn't have much resources herself. I just don't know how to make a next step and get help.
So, that's my story... not lookin' for a man... not really lookin' for anything except to make friends, build a support network for myself (cause I desperately need it), and get my transition under way...
I'm not completely closed to the idea of romance or whatever, I'm just not seeking it at this time as I feel my life needs a serious overhaul before I'd be bf/gf material... gotta work on me.
