I'm a long time closeted crossdresser who first became enthralled with all things feminine in my mid-teens. I have always admired the style and togetherness that working mothers seemed to have. With all of the demands and struggles they have trying to fit everything into a single day, I noticed that they still made an effort to present themselves with a totally feminine and attractive look. Often, nothing more than some light makeup and a few accessories made even a simple outfit work for the whole day. That was the inspiration for my own dressing.
My first time dressing was based on curiousity, but the textures and colors of women's clothing made a huge impression on me and I was hooked. At first, there was a large sense of sexuality, but as time passed and I became more adept in styling in way to blend into every day life--how I imagine I might have been if my birth sex had been different. Now when I dress, it allows me to feel totally relaxed and I spend my time doing those little things that are usually associated with girls and women. Romantic comedies, kittens, flowers, comfy femme jammies, a glass of chilled Chardonnay, and a sense of calmness.
Circumstances prevent me from more fully expressing myself as a female, but hindsight does not make me regret my life choices. It actually makes me more appreciative of the time I do have as my femme self. I am still shy and fearful to be out and about en femme, but at this point, I am committed to being more attentive to my diet and exercise so that I take further steps into the world as Donna Lynn.
I love the whole idea of being a woman...the fashion, the mannerisms, the treatment, all of it. I love to chat and get to know others who have the same interests as me.
