About Me

Hello to all who enter here. I recently update this, just for the hell of it. Here's the brief:

* About me: I am 5'11, 130 lbs, the hair in the profile picture is mine, but the blonde color is fake.

* Why did I post a profile here? To communicate with others here in a non-sexually-oriented fashion. "Cyber" or "phone" etc. is a complete no-no, so please don't ask me. My voice is of average pitch and my accent is a UK/US hybrid.

* What motivates me to do this? Is it upbringing, environmental, biochemical or psychological etc.? I still cannot answer that; I have spent more than enough time analyzing this aspect of myself. The best solution (for me) is unconditional self-acceptance, and how to make the best of interfacing with what is all too often a harsh and uncaring world. It is not so much about to whom I am attracted, but more about how I feel about myself. Perhaps I lived past lives as a female? (I live in S. California so I had to ask that)... :o)

* Some background noise: I enjoy the outdoors, (hiking, biking, running etc) the indoors (dancing, clubbing, movies, concerts, lectures, reading etc), I try to keep abreast of developments in science, technology, the arts and current affairs. I am equally comfortable amongst lots of people, or alone in the desert 100 miles from the nearest settlement. I am not "fulltime", but 95% of my wardrobe is female attire. (Does that make any sense?). I keep fit and live a healthy lifestyle. I love Indian food, and dark bittersweet chocolate is the nectar of the goddesses.

When Apollo VIII astronaut Bill Anders shot that famous 'upside-down' photo of Earth en route to the Moon, our existence took on a whole new perspective. This spinning sphere of rock, with its thin veneer of life- supporting atmosphere, is all we have. There is none other like it (as far as we know) so lets care for it as best we can, for

Kelli Nicole Elam 9/05/2009 09:24 Every time you enter the chat room, I swear it lights up brighter than before! Of course, this laptop is slowly but surely losing orbit, so maybe it's making me "see thingz". :D But, Shannon dear, you ARE a bright, shining light in my life, and I will always be grateful for our friendship.
