I'm trappped in Dallas. Still working towards moving into the country. Sometimes I think the city rat-race keeps it's people locked down with invisible chains.
Maybe city folks aren't allowed to have open spacious land. I'm still learning about sustainable living. Seems like our fore-mothers knew so many things we will have to relearn. Imagine not running to the store for your toiletry and household items. There seems to be group of disenfranchised people rediscovering older methods such as rain-water collection, composting, humanure, food forests, livestock, and companion gardening.
Others might be welcome to find nature or come camping there. Although it might not be the most girlish lifestyle, nature has a unique charm.
In the meantime, I am staying busy with occasional chat breaks on irc.undernet.org in the #genderblenders channel (and a few others). Feel free to drop in.
