About Me
I'm a 66 yr young widow living 24/7 since May of 09. Looking for friends that have gone through some of the things I have and will go through as I finally transition after way too many years of life interfering. My Transition for which my spouse/soulmate of 32 yrs was fully accepting of was first postponed to help take care of my Dad with Alzheimer’s.
Then it was Mom sick then the wife/soulmate she passed away in Feb of 09 and I had figured to work till May 2010 but was laid off in April of 09 and said the heck with it.
Filed for SS and started living full time. Moved back to our retirement home in FL in Oct 09 after 6 freezing winters in VT and found a therapist, got official name change done in
Jan 2010. Got referral from Therapist in June 2010 and officially started HRT in Aug on my return from visiting my sister in MA
I’ve been very fortunate in that what family I have left and all the friends I had before going 24/7 have all accepted and support me in my transition.
