About Me
Well, I guess I should start with the basics. I am 5'9", on the heavy side. Brown hair and dark brown eyes. I am an artist living in Portland, ME. I am into anything creative. I paint, draw, do photography, videography, digital art, and write sad depressing poetry...but I like to ad a little hope in there too. I can be found at the beach quite often during the warmer months here, which is about 3 months out of the year here in Maine. I like to go there with my camera and sketchbook and just relax, meditate, and sometimes meet new people.
I am sort of a homebody, but that is due more to lack of opportunity to travel and get out rather than the will to do so. I love the outdoors, especially anywhere near water. I am an animal lover. I also enjoy the theater, movies, concerts, being with close friends and family, board games and card games, art galleries, small out of the way festivals and carnivals. I just like the sights and sounds of people.
People tell me I am very sensitive, and I guess they are right. I am the sort of guy who tries to put others needs ahead of his own. It is not submissiveness by anymeans. I simply feel good about making others feel good. It is the highlight of my day to know that something I have done has brought a smile to someones face or made them laugh and forget their troubles.
I am not sure who or what I am really looking for. I have tried so many different avenues to meet people, but I am a bit shy at first, and online lets me get to know the person before that awkward face to face. I guess I really want someone who can be my friend and then see where that leads us. I am not picky about looks. I believe that you fall in love with the spirit of the person and not the outer shell.
