About Me

September 3, 2008:
It seems that everything in life is fleeting. We live in good times that suddenly vanish. They are replaced by trying times that we overcome and we then move on to another stage in our lives. That is the way I feel about things. Nothing lasts forever so I am not looking for or expecting anything past this fleeting moment I live in.

Sometime in 2005:
I am a transexual. I have at least 18 months worth of psychological testing and a letter to prove it, so it's not all in my head-well its in my head but its just that I did not put it in there.

I am comfortable and happy being Rene' (my true self). I have started on my transition with very good results so far. Many others in my life are not happy about it and don't think I should do this at the expense of their happiness and comfort. Family members are a bitch.

I knew all my life I was transexual. It was in my dreams before I could talk. Like many others I fought it tooth and nail thinking I would eventually overcome it but all that came of it was a lot of guilt and shame. I've had a gifted life and I have accomplished many things. I have 2 wonderful children and a wife who has tried so hard to accept who I am but has been unable to do so. I believe we will always be the best of friends but there are many things that Rene' can no longer provide her. I will always love her and keep her from harm.

I grew up in a large loving family of 5 girls and 2 boys. That was then, now is different. My life has been just a matter of going through the motions-doing what people expect of me. I thought happiness was an event, not a way of life.
