Over the past 5 years I made those changes in my life that I felt I needed to make to salvage whatever time I have left here. I doubt the veracity of the decisions I made. Am I better off? Did I do the right thing? How many people have I hurt? Have I been selfish? Why will I never feel complete? The questions never end. Well I'm alive. Something I was not sure I'd be several years ago. I have gone so far in my transition that I can no longer turn back. I feel trapped once more. My GCS (PC for Gender Confrmation Surgery) is July 15th and even with all the questions and doubt that go through my mind I am definitely going through with this. I am not necessarily excited about it but feel relieved that the end of the road is near. Through this all I have gotten to experience the richness of the human condition and what it means to be alive and honest with one's self. Having waited so long to act upon my transsexualism, I will never be able to expunge the past since it is so much a part of the person I am today.
