About Me

So I should say something about myself... I suppose. Here's the long and tall of it all:

I'm 23, and I have *almost* finished my degree in computer science. Had to take some time off because life got in the way. So for now I'm working, taking care of these life issues, and trying to save money.

Ugh, the job.... well, I'm a full time supervisor at a local Kohl's. I install POS systems for local restaurants. And I take care of a 9 yr old 24/7. It's exhausting, but rewarding.

I have lots of hobbies. Clearly, I love computers. I also tend to be one of those free-thinker types. I like to think outside the box and see things from angles that people haven't thought to look at them from before. I suppose you could call philosophy a hobby, but I consider it more of a pursuit of life.

I enjoy singing and dancing. I like running, and I'm a fencer. That's actually a lot of fun. It's actually considered the fastest sport in the world. It even beat out riflery and auto-racing. I think that sports are something that should be done, as opposed to something that should be watched on TV.

Most of what I do watch on TV is from the History Channel, Science Channel, stuff like that. I love learning about anything and everything. That's my favorite. If I couldn't learn, I would die. I question everything and instead of asking "Why?" I usually ask "Whynot?"

My mom passed away almost 2 years ago. It was definitely one of those things that changes your life. She was amazing. I've had a few people who knew her well tell me I remind them of her. That usually makes me cry, but it's probably the biggest compliment I've ever recieved.

So I guess that's pretty much the rundown. I guess you could say I'm still trying to find where I fit in the world, and I'm always trying to be a better person than I was yesterday.
