About Me

Hi there, my name is Rachel Ashbury. I'm 30++ years old, 5' 8" and 140 lbs. I've been dressing since childhood. I don't really get out enfem (exept for quick store runs) but am hoping to meet some people and maybe stir up the courage. I love how I look and feel in dresses and skirts. Most of the time I wish I could wear them all the time and start a new life. Maybe I'll be able to work that out some day. I hope to meet some nice people here.

4/24/06 Thank you so much to all of you who've been pushing me to get out the door. I have been out a couple of times and had a really great time. I think I put an account of one of those trips in my journal. If not, it's on my 360 blog. OK, so you all were right after all! Are you happy now? You should be, I am!

6/7/10 I've read somewhere that going without dressing is like holding a beach ball under water. It can be done for a long time but sooner or later it will slip and return to the surface (where it belongs). I just had to go a year without dressing as me. Like holding your breath for a year, that first taste of air is sooo wonderful! I won't go in to what got so screwed up but I will say that after a year of not feeling good about anything, finally getting to take the full femme plunge felt just incredible. Rachel gets breathe the air and feel the Sun again, finally. I won't be needing another year like the last one. That kind of self denial and forced repression just can't be healthy. I'm back, HOORAY!
