About Me

It's been quite some time since I've updated my profile and it was quite out of date. So, here is what I'm up to these days. I'm a full-time student finishing my two year degree at the community college level. I will graduate after this quarter; fall 2009. I'm in the process of applying to a couple of state universities and will transfer next spring to pursue a Bachelors degree. I live alone in a comfortable rental home in an area called West Seattle. I'm a fairly active person; I own 5 bicyles and two skateboards. I like the outdoors, hiking/camping and exploring the urban landscape. Although I'm in my 40s now, most people think I'm in my early 30s. It happened just today actually. Some examples of musical artists/groups that I like include Tosca, Theivery Corporation, Cake, Baby Charles, The Budos Band, Orgone, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, James Brown, Yes, Tool, APC, Pearl Jam, Miles Davis, Kruder & Dorfmiester and the list goes on. Some movies I've watched recently or intend to watch soon include "Gran Torino", "Zombieland", "King of California", "Defiance", "The Watchmen" and so many others. Some TV shows that I really like are "Sons of Anarchy", "It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia", "Rescue Me", "House" a lot of stuff on Comedy Central ("The Daily Show" & "Colbert Report", etc.) and other than that I pretty much watch news and documentaries. Come on, who doesn't like to settle down on the sofa on a Sunday afternoon and watch some stuff about WWII or how they build bridges? LOL. Yes, I'm a bit of a science/engineering geek. I work in the computer/network field now, but my background also includes many years in biotechnology. Well, that's about enough for now. If you're curious about me, send me a message. B
