Hey everyone:
My name is Nevaeh and I'm 17 years old. I recently started hormones approximatley 8 months ago and I'm so happy to feel and see the changes that these magical pills are doing to me. I'm very proud to be an open trans-identified female, even in this corrupt world. We all need to stand strong and defend our lives.
I hope to do alot of work in Canada along the lines of political awareness of trans-people. I wish to make change and bring forth a stronger and much more successful and open-minded society towards trans-people alike.
I'm a student at the Triangle Program, which is Canada's only classroom for lgbbpttt2iqq youth. It's a fabulous program that has been very supportive in my choices in life as well as the choices of my fellow classmates.
It really upsets me when I see so much discrimination even within our own community. We shouldn't be hassling eachother on the way we pass and look, our backgrounds and races, our choices in life, or anything that we, as individuals have decided to embrace and bring forth the path that we wish to live. We need to work together and help stop oppression, not create it. If we cannot work together and become a successful community, then we cannot possibly believe that other communities and society will be able to look at us seriously and accept us for who we are.
