About Me
I'm a tall (6'3"), PhD, self-employed, creative and classy pre-op TS who is moving forward with transition as best as possible. I'm not full-time yet but hope to be by the end of 2009 or so. Check out my Flickr photos for more pics (the "Website" link on my profile).
2008 was a landmark year as I came out to family and friends - with mixed results. And after 7 years on anti-androgens, I finally started estrogen and progesterone (in July 2008), so my progress continues nicely.
Why the "Playboy bunny" motif? I personally appreciate the Playboy bunny costume as an icon that epitomizes classic, sexy femininity. Some think it's a sexist image, I think it's a powerful one for women. I also like juxtaposing the image against who I am: a self-employed individual with a doctorate; i.e., I'm not a bimbo ;)
Beyond my long-term goals, I'm always open to making new friends and keeping old friendships alive, there's too many nice people in this world to pass up :) I am ultimately looking for a relationship with a good man (I consider myself a mostly heterosexual female). If you're a nice person with whom I've chatted and we click well, and if you're in the Seattle area or are able to visit - or if I might be visiting your locale - I'm open to possibly meeting you in person.
And if you're wondering, I am currently married to a GG and it's a difficult situation. She and I have a strong friendship, but our marriage will not survive my transition. If you're curious, I can fill in the details for you sometime.
