About Me
Blah blah blah blah...Why do people write their age in this section? Its listed under their name. OK now, first off, all the boring stuff that tells you nothing about myself as a person, I'm 6 ft (183 cm), 175 lbs (80 Kg), single (never married), hispanic, and college educated.
Like most people, I have a variety of interests. I think I've been natural right brainer since birth because things like music, architecture, and photography come easy to me. But I'm also the product of a household that placed premium on academic excellence, particularly in the sciences. That would explain why I was a science major and currently work in the biopharmaceutical industry. But as I get older, I'm acquiescing back to what I know and love best, the arts.
As far as my personality or rather what kind of a persona I project, I would say that I'm extremely easygoing. I am also a flirt but fiercely loyal to my friends and when I'm in a committed relationship, to date I have never strayed or cheated. And yes, the opportunities have come my way. I always wondered if this was part of the reason I was single and thought maybe I should behave like a sleaze since they always ended up with someone great. But a good friend of mine threw me an emotional "lifeline" last Dec. when she said, "Tom, your Momma raised you right!" Considering how much I respect and like this person, it made me feel good, in fact better than I had in quite a while.
I don't do drugs but I'm always working on making the perfect martini. I don't take stupid chances but I am a calculated risk taker. I know my way around gourmet dining but I'm still trying to master my Mom's recipe for Chili Verde Tamales. I live up to my Chinese horoscope, the Tiger. Once backed into a corner, I know how to take care of myself. But I would prefer to impress people with openmindedness, friendship, and kindness.
