About Me

Hi all,

I have been absent from here for well over 2 years, due to sporadic internet access. I solved that problem on January 7, when I purchased a Verizon Wireless modem that works just about anywhere in the country for internet access.

I have been full time since Mid July of this year and am enjoying every minute of it. My room mate and his family have all be very accepting of the change,as well as all my friends that I made while staying in a Homeless shelter for over 2 years. I did move out last January and rented this apartment with a friend of mine.

On Sept 8,2008 I was certified 100 percent disabled by the Dept of Veterans Affairs due to the bad case of Pneumonia I had in December 2005, which caused a lot of damage to my left lung.

The surgery to repair my left foot and toes suffered in a fall was done on April 8, 2009 and as of today 9/2/09 am fully recovered.

During December 2007 I applied for a non service connected disability from the VA, this was approved in late August 2008 and I am now receiving a nice monthly pension from them for my service during the Vietnam War.

I am a veteran of the USAF having served in SAC,8th and 15th Air Forces .

I did purchase a new Schwinn bicycle this past September and have been riding it on an almost daily basis and once again am getting my weight back down from a high of 192 in June of 2008.


Electronics,Photography,and Train Watching are among my interests and do keep my busy.
