About Me
It's been a long time since I've been active here. I've been fully transitioned a long time. For the most part I live a so called "stealth" life in which most people that I see and interact with on a daily basis do not know that I'm a trans-woman; even many of my best friends don't know. It's just not the sort of thing that comes up in conversation, you know? I guess I'm returning here hoping connect to a sense of community. You know, looking for the place where I fit in and belong.
In March 2009 I'm 1 year married to the loveliest, most understanding and supportive woman I've ever known. (I say married, but here in Oregon it's called "Domestic Partnership". I guess I gave up the right to legally marry the woman of my dreams when I changed the gender on my birth certificate. It's been totally worth it!)
My wife, Peaches, and I live in a bit beautiful house in Portland, Oregon. We live alone, but enjoy surrounding ourselves with lots of friends that we call "intentional family". (I've been mostly estranged from my family for most of my life, and Peaches sacrificed her relationship with most of her family members when she married me; we are in agreement that it's been totally worth it.)
Peaches and I are deeply in love. We live our lives by the principles of the Law of Attraction, looking to the books of Esther and Jerry Hicks for guidance. We also align our energies with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now".
Peaches and I are big fans of writing and sharing daily gratitude lists for each other. We're avid bloggers, very long time vegetarians, happy, healthy positive thinkers. We love to surround ourselves with others who believe in the power of positive thought.
