About Me

Who/What am I? Boy is that not a question for the ages? Growing up, I thought myself pretty normal although I was teased for being sensitive or even a bit passive as a kid. I thought I was normal in high school, although I never belonged to a click...I got along with all. Even in the army, I thought, hmmm, I must have this down...but all the while, something inside me never seemed right.

It was not until my mid-20s I really started to wonder and my 30s when I knew...I had been living a half truth for most of my life. While I like to think I'm a good person, everything did not match. Call it wiring, call it a birth defect, the issue is...I'm not properly aligned by way of gender.

What does that mean? Well it means that if you knew me prior, I'm still the same person you knew. I will help you when needed and I would defend my family and friends to the end. A bit of a warrior gurl as one has described me. I find it fitting. I am fiercely loyal to a fault and I realize I am flawed but in the end, I am me...she who you have always known really.

So who would you see if we were to get a coffee? Well I guess it would depend. I'm not one who thinks clothing or cosmetics make the person. Granted they do help, but its not the be all end all. Confidence in ones' self and believing in who you are is much more important and that is where I am mentally. Everything else can be worked on.

To those who think ill of me for who I am...I did not ask to be who I am. I can only be the best me possible and if that means doing some unconventional things to make my quality of life, from a spiritual and emotional level, better so be it. I ask not for acceptance, merely tolerance because tolerance is NOT acceptance and that's ok.

The other boring stuff about me is I like to have fun and spend time with family and friends. I much rather prefer small quiet gatherings than loud clubs but do enjoy getting out and about w
