I am Transsexual and rather than hide it as many do, I am damn proud of who I am.
Answer to the first question most people ask.... "Am I Gay?"
No I am not. This has nothing to do with sexual orientation, as hard as that is for the people who love to place everything in little square boxes to understand.
I have been on hormones since 2005, and I have been living as a woman since my divorce in 2009. I am who I am; most people seem to except me whichever way I look. I work in jeans, no make-up and my hair tied back, earrings and long nails. It does not seem to bother the guys I run into at work, but then I'm sure they talk among themselves. I wonder sometimes what they would say if I showed up on the job the way I look in some of the photos I have on here. Probably ask me how I expected to get a damn thing done with my skirt hung up in the controls all the time. Besides, the crew would be so busy trying to see what's under there, that they would never get a thing done. I work in the housing development and highway construction industry mostly. Heavy equipment operator at times and truck owner operator at others. I am also a heavy equipment and truck mechanic, (I tear em apart and put em back together). I would much prefer a different (less dirty) line of work now, but this is what I know and it pays the bills….. well most of the time. In the past I have been a Logger, a Sheriff's deputy, Soldier. You know, all the macho jobs, I suppose to help hide from the world who was really inside.
