About Me
I live on the coast near LA. I love choral music and jazz, Paris and London, shopping, decorating and gin martinis. I play keyboard and guitar. Some find me attractive. Shy, but outgoing, I can laugh at anything, including myself. I love sunsets, happy hour and mountain hikes. I once flew jets. I've been TS all my life, but have been married and have kids. I've been on HRT for years, appear outwardly female and feel inwardly female. My poem, Wall of Tears, captures a bit of me:
I found what I never wanted
And lost what I never had,
Secret me, and guilty.
Sugar, spice and sweaty steel,
Everything nice and nothing gained.
Soul of a woman locked out in the rain.
Searching, seeking the key, the door
To the other side of
The wall of tears.
If neither X nor Y, why be at all,
Hidden inside myself and cloaked in fears?
The stranger I thought was really me
Is only the girl looking out of the picture,
Lost and forbidden, hidden and left
Too far behind and so buried within
The wall of tears.
People see me, but not who I am.
How could they know where I go or where I’ve been?
Late in the dark when I measure my mind
The truth shines clear, it won’t stay hid.
The joy is a tease,
It cannot last and doesn’t please.
It’s only the shadow of a girl searching
The crying side of the wall of tears.
A place, beautiful place, soft and fragrant.
Gentle, stirring without defense.
Loving, lifting, caring, and giving,
Beyond the flesh, fire and frustration.
The eye of God who made me this way
Was always smiling on me,
Coaxing me back toward perfect life without limit or loss.
Bringing me home with wings to fly,
Joyfully rising forever beyond and above
The wall of tears.
My wall of tears,
With tears of joy.
