About Me

I am a fun-loving, free-spirited, totally "out" Trans-girl who went "full-time" on Feb. 1, 2006. I currently live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I had been a Civil (Engineering) Designer for 22 years. However, when I requested to Transition at my past place of employment, they summarily fired me (Feb. 1, 2006). After unsuccessfully "courting" over 150 different engineering firms and other sorts of companies, I finally begun a modest new career at what appears to be a Trans-friendly call center in the north of my city.

I use most of my "spare" time leading a TG Support Group called Peak Area Gender Expressions (PAGE) and launching a massive political activism campaign. My Mission now is to strive for the day when no younger Transgender individual will ever have to be subjected to the same economic oppressions and societal punishments I have had to endure.

I am currently the Official Co-Chair of the El Paso County Stonewall Democrats. In 2007, the local LGBT Community bestowed upon me the Thomas G. Martin Activist Award for Exemplary Service in the name of Equality; then 3 other awards besides that one came my way. I'm still standing strong against hateful people who insist upon forcing the LGBT Community into second-class status. And I have helped make Colorado a more T-friendly State via pushing efforts that put Trans-inclusive laws on the books here.

I call for nothing less than true EQUALITY for all law-abiding citizens.

When not on the political battlefield, I love to sit at home listening to good music; go out with friends to dance; or do the Diva Thing at some nice place when it's karaoke night. I also love to draw, write poetry, compose commentaries, journal, and maintain my serious faith in Christ by being a regular at my church and sticking to my now 32-year routine of reading the
