About Me
I am a fun-loving, free-spirited, totally "out" Trans-girl who went "full-time" on Feb. 1, 2006. I currently live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
I'd been a Civil (Engineering) Designer for 22 years - but was summarily fired (Feb. 1, 2006) for beginning my Transition on the job. After over 150 unsuccessful tries to re-enter my Field, I began a new career in Feb. 2007 at a Trans-friendly Call Center.
However, I just got laid off on April 6, 2009.
I lead a TG Support Group called Peak Area Gender Expressions (PAGE) and also serve as a Political Activist for the Greater Trans Community. My Mission is to strive for the day when no younger Transgender individual will ever be subjected to the same economic oppressions and societal punishments I have had to endure in my Journey.
I am currently the Official Co-Chair (2nd Term Incumbent) of the El Paso County Stonewall Democrats. In 2007, the local LGBT Community bestowed upon me the Thomas G. Martin Activist Award for Exemplary Service; plus 3 other awards besides that for openly opposing Bigots who discriminate against the LGBT Community. I have also helped make Colorado a more T-friendly State via pushing efforts that put Trans-inclusive laws on the books here.
I call for nothing less than true EQUALITY for all law-abiding citizens.

For recreation, I enjoy listening to good music; going out with friends to dance; or doing the Diva Thing at some nice place when it's karaoke night. I also love to draw, write poetry, compose commentaries, journal, and I maintain my serious Faith in Christ via attending Church and sticking to my now 33-year routine of reading the Bible completely, each year.
