About Me
Howdy folks. I'm just you're regular admirer-type of fella who is actually a card-carrying member of the NRA, republican voting, conservative from a ranch life. This doesn't make alot of sense, but I fully support every person who is a member of this site. I don't know what type of "relationship" I hope to find through these rescources offered here, but making a few friends would be a great start.
I'm 6'2", about 210 lbs, and primarily of Scandinavian ancestry. But I'm all American. Blue eyes, brownish hair, and that's about all I can think of to describe myself.
Never in a million years did I believe I'd wind up in a place like this, but college can open up even the most conservative eyes! I had a psych class back in the early '90's with a gal who was pre-op. I had no idea whatsoever until she kinda-sorta semi announced the fact to the whole class during a talk on human sexuality. Needless to say, it scared the sh?t outta me! My only exposure to the transgender world had been on Jerry Springer, and other shows of that nature. Everybody here knows what sort of screwed up mental images THAT show can create in an impressionable mind! Especially when I had absolutly zero real-time knowledge of the subject. I was on a first name basis with this particular girl, and we'd had lunch together, talked at parties, told a joke to each other, ...you know the kind of freindly banter two people have when they don't really know each other, but call one another a friend. But after I found out I pretty much avoided her for the rest of the year.
So after awhile I started feeling guilty about the way I'd treated her all those years before. I began to actively seek out information on this topic, and came to several conclusions that were diametrically opposite of what I understood when I first encountered this girl in college.
So here I am. Maybe out of guilt, or maybe it's become an attraction. I dunno, but here I am
