About Me
I hope to help those seeking answers in their gender journey by sharing my life, for those seeking understanding about transgender issues, pointing to others who are further along.
Wwwebsite is roxanneross.com. A fuller picture of my life is there. Transfolk on the net have unique qualities, but one is common. Vanity can be a problem! The joke is we are never far from a camera or mirror! Pictures are useful for two reasons: First, we're not abstractions; we're real people. Narratives resonate, but pictures give a full measure of reality that words cannot. My site has a range of my activities at workplace, at play, on vacation, in a wedding. I pinch myself to realize I've done so much and made such wonderful memories.
More personally, I want a face to my name, to humanize online talk and for webfriends I'll never see face to face.
Being transgender is a process of discovery. It's a complex issue, with dual pressures of family and society making it worse. My prime goal is: help others seeking truth and the grace of God in their gender differences.
There is amazing power available to transform the inner life to one of abundance. Maybe my personal story will give insight on ways that Christian faith is lived as transgender.
