About Me
I did work in a community residence with people with Developmental Disabilities. I've been on disability full time for over a year, but I start classes in electrical engineering technology Sept 1, 2009. I've already had some difficulty with the toilet facilities on campus. I use the women's toilets because that's what my ID says I am. Disability Services told me to connect with the clubs on campus (it's a community college without housing), which means waiting through probably the first month of classes before I can talk to anyone on campus. I think it's time to go off campus, maybe to one of the legal defense funds... But then I'd have to come out to the whole campus/town I live in. I'm not so sure I'm ready for that... I just want to get through my classes and graduate...
