About Me

Our Holiday Party will be held on December 18th, 2010 from 8-pm to 11pm at our regular location.


Gender Identity Group is for transgender persons, their friends and family. Discussing the life of Transgender ( F2M & M2F ), Transexuals, Cross-Dresser, GenderQueer, A-sexual and anyone with Gender Expression at conflict with society. The group is an open exchange of ideas and information, and based on peer support.


We do not care HOW anyone presents at a meeting of GIG or Tran*Quility. What we are most interested in is what's on the inside, what can not be dressed up or down. The real purpose, the basic dynamic of the group, is to offer an opportunity for all of us to grow through effective relationships and to stop the isolation. We must or it will kill us. Not all will die physically, many just kill the true person inside, forcing them to live an empty existence.

The GLCCB, located at 241 W. Chase St, Baltimore, 21201, is offering a safe place for the Group to meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at 8pm until 10pm. There is a space provided to change into a gender specific style you wish to present, if need be, at 7:30pm. Please feel free to come anyway you feel comfortable. We offer a relaxed social setting. Many member will also hang out afterwards either for late night dining or clubbing as we are just 3 blocks from the Hippo, Central Station or Mt Vernon Stable.
