Even as a relatively traditional male, I am on a journey as much as anyone else here. There is the occasional offensive person in chat who irritates me, and sometimes I let it show. But for the most part, here, I've just met good, witty, intelligent and courteous people. So I keep coming back: I like finding a bit of friendship and support, and I like giving it. If you'd like to know more, there's this marvelous invention called the question. *smile*
I am sometimes a bit dull-witted, but not usually. I have enjoyed honing my verbal skills and practicing trying to match wits with what I consider to be some of the brightest people on the planet. I am highly impressed by a number of minds here.
As of this date (see above) I have found a person from here who completes me in a way that has not happened in my life for many years. If you get to know me, you will likely know who that person is, sooner or later. We both still come here to share company with our friends, and to receive and offer support; but often times, we end up wandering into another room, holding hands. We talk for hours, about everything under the Moon.
